Peter Leyden just finished a period as the Director of the New Politics Institute, a networked think tank helping people in politics understand and adapt to the massive changes in technology and new media. He is now focusing on the next challenge of how to use new technologies and new processes to move big ideas and more transformative agendas into politics. Leyden previously worked as the managing editor at the original Wired magazine as it helped drive the digital revolution and create the early online new media. He was the director of Global Business Network's think tank on the future that pioneered the use of diverse networks of talented individuals. He has been a journalist and a special correspondent for Newsweek in Asia, and he speaks regularly in the media and at conferences on new technologies and future trends.
What is your momentum? Knowing that we could well be entering a period of transformative politics on a scale seen only a handful of times in American history.
