MODERATOR Tom David is Senior Strategist for the Community Clinics Initiative, a joint project of Tides and The California Endowment. Until July, 2004, he was Director of Organizational Learning and Evaluation at the Marguerite Casey Foundation in Seattle. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President of The California Wellness Foundation, Vice President of the S.H. Cowell Foundation and Senior Program Officer at the James Irvine Foundation in San Francisco. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Grantmakers in Health and on the Advisory Board of the Stanford Medical Youth Science Program. He was the recipient of the 2002 Terrence Keenan Leadership Award in Health Philanthropy from Grantmakers in Health. David has written extensively on philanthropy, organizational learning and social change.
